2018 is here and if getting a better smile is at the top of your resolution list this year, then now is the time to get in touch with our office and see what Dr. Barbon can do for you. Here at Superb Dental Care we offer a variety of cosmetic dental procedures designed to help you get the best smile possible.
Teeth whitening
One of the most popular cosmetic procedures we perform, teeth whitening can get your teeth several shades whiter in just one visit. During this procedure, you come into the office and the doctor applies a clinical solution to your teeth, along with FDA approved lights to remove stains and get you the nearly instant results.
This procedure is painless and offers quick results. It can also be performed several times so that you reach the goal of the optimal shade for your teeth.
Dental implants
Designed to replace either a single tooth or several teeth, dental implants are permanent prosthetics that do not have to be removed to be cleaned like dentures do. They are cared for like your natural teeth and are a great option for people who want to remedy tooth loss with a quick, permanent solution.
While the process of getting an implant can take several months due to the healing that is required, people who get implants always say it was worth it because of the lifelong results. These prosthetics never have to be replaced like removable dentures.
Composite Fillings
Cavities are a part of life, but traditional amalgam fillings don’t have to be. In fact, we offer tooth colored fillings (composite fillings) that are strong enough to be used on molars, but aren’t silver colored like amalgam fillings.
This means you can smile confidently without worrying about people seeing your fillings. This material can also be used on teeth that are front facing.
Inlays/onlays
Inlays and onlays are much more extensive than a traditional filling (restoration), but aren’t a complete restoration like a crown or cap. Inlays are placed at a tooth’s center, whereas onlays are placed around at least one cusp.
These are incredibly strong and can take the place of a crown or cap if there is enough surrounding tooth to support them.
Veneers and laminates
For those who have teeth that are badly stained to the point that tooth whitening won’t do anything for them or have chipped or cracked teeth, veneers and laminates might be a great option. These are thin sheathes that are placed over existing teeth. They provide you with an attractive appearance that is strong and meet the demands of daily wear and tear.
