One of the many concerns we see patients discuss when looking at a particular procedure is the cost of the procedure. Unfortunately, even with dental insurance the out of pocket cost of a dental procedure can be too much for a family to take on at once. This is common with surgeries and orthodontic care.
Thankfully, there’s a way that families can bridge the gap, get the care they need, and afford it on a payment schedule that works for them. CareCredit is a credit card that is designed to only be used at participating providers to cover the cost of medical and dental procedures.
This card can be used from costs starting at $200 and up.
Financing Options
CareCredit has finance options that range between 6 months and 24 months with no interest. All you have to do is pay by the end of the promotional date. If you do not, you will be charged interest based off of the starting date.
Longer term financing for up to two years can can have APR between 14.9% and 16.9%. The interest you’re charged will depend on the amount you’re financing. Typically procedures of $2,500 or more will have an APR of 16.9%.
